When one is confident he/she would be able to attain any goals set. And most of the time it doesn’t only take a great mind to be that confident. You should always be presentable and nice to look at and of course good-smelling all the time. This includes good body-odor and of course pleasant breath especially when dealing with people. You don’t want people focusing on your breath instead of your brilliant ideas, do you?
There are simple ways to have that overall confidence with regards to your breath.
1. Acknowledge the problem- Admittance that you have foul breath is the most important part of the solution. With this you would be able to step forward and check the sources and find the solutions.
2. Know the sources or reason of bad breath- There are various reasons of unpleasant breath and having a poor oral hygiene tops them all. Next are gum diseases; dry mouth; fondness of eating bad-smell emitting foods like garlic, onion, tobacco, too much red meat and more. respiratory diseases, cancer, bronchitis and other internal diseases. You should be able to pin down the reason to get the best possible cure. Most of the time it may be a combination of them hence; the need of one or more solutions.
3. Have a good oral hygiene- Start with having soft bristled-toothbrush to avoid creating bruises in the gums and make sure to brush at least twice daily. There are also proper strokes in brushing to address the shapes of your teeth and get rid of plaque in between them. Choose a good brand of toothpaste with the right amount of fluoride and avoid those with harmful chemicals. Follow this up with flossing and make sure to spend the right amount of time flossing each teeth space. Use a good mouthwash that would kill the remaining bacteria to ensure that you’ll have fresh breath afterwards.
4. Make sure to drink plenty of water all the time- Bacteria build up fast when our mouth is dry so make sure to take plenty of liquids all the time. Avoid too much intake of coffee, alcohol and some teas that could stain your teeth. Good smelling teeth should be coupled with pearly white teeth as well for the overall impact of confidence on your part.
5. Eat healthy foods- This includes green leafy vegetables, fruits and fruit juices. Keeping your internal organs healthy will give a huge impact to the odor they emit via your breath so make sure to always eat healthy.
6. Set an appointment to your dentist twice a year- A professional advice from your dentist is very important to make sure you are doing things right. It is also vital that you get your teeth cleaned twice a year.
If you are aiming the top of your career or build a lasting impression to people it is a huge factor that you are always at your best. Great minds can be expressed well if you smell good and your breath will definitely play a major factor. Having a good breath doesn’t have to burn a hole in your pocket, just follow the simple steps above and you will definitely boost your confidence to the nth level.
