A lot has been said and done for the sexual enhancement of men, who suffer from erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and small penile size. But when it comes to female enhancement, yet a lot has to be discovered and done to help them enjoy their sex lives. In particular, post-pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through a lot of physiological and psychological changes. It sometimes becomes difficult or takes a lot of time for some women to regain their libido same as it was before pregnancy. The issues related to female tightening remain one of the concerning topics for most couples after they have had a child. Usually, female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is a common problem experienced by a lot of women as they age due hormonal changes leading to menopause.
Female sexual dysfunction
When it comes to expressing feelings about sexual desire, a majority of women are hesitant to do so and are not likely to express unless pushed. Women, who suffer from female sexual dysfunction, tend to lose interest in sexual activities owing to reduced libido, sexual response and problems in reaching orgasm. As women age, about 50% of them can experience prominent problems in their sexual activities. Loss of sexual arousal in women with this condition is one of the primary problems that do not let them enjoy sex. Painful intercourse and urination are some of the other problems that can worsen the situation. Sexual functions in both men and women are orchestrated by hormones in the body. Hormonal fluctuations during monthly menstrual periods can temporarily affect a woman’s sexual desire. But everything restores to normal when these periods end.
Female sexual restoration
During menopause, the ovaries cease to produce sex hormones such as oestrogen and progesterone. Due to this sharp decline in hormonal production, most women face symptoms related to female sexual dysfunction. Drop in sexual desire or libido with reduced arousal is usually known as hypoactive sexual desire disorder. Even in younger women, surgically induced menopause can lead to drastic change in their sexual experience. For instance, even hysterectomy that is removal of ovaries (especially in ovarian cancer) can lead to sudden drop in level of sex hormones in women and lead to FSD.
It’s normal to have decreased sexual desire post-pregnancy. According to a study done on a group postpartum women, it was found that about 20% of them had little or no sexual desire for at least three months after childbirth and 21% of them completely lost desire to have sexual activity. It is the vagina which is most affected during delivery of a child. The stretching and tearing of the vagina during childbirth can lead to significant loosening of its muscle. It is the tightness of female genitalia that plays crucial role in enjoying pleasurable penetrative sex. This is the reason why most women think about getting vaginal tightening in order to regain their sexual intimacy. Kegel exercises are usually considered as one of the best ways to tighten womanliness for better sex. These exercises focus on strengthening the pelvic floor muscles to tighten the vaginal muscles. A range of lotions and creams can also help in effective tightening.
