In fact, some refer to Rome as the 'cradle of Western civilization'.
Here some most attracting places of Rome like-
Colosseum: The most famous building of the Roman Empire is probably the Colosseum. The building accommodated more than 55.000 spectators and was home to many games featuring gladiators and wild animals. The monumental structure has fallen into ruins but even today it is an imposing and beautiful sight.
Trastevere: Its narrow cobblestone streets are lined with overhanging flower boxes and washing lines and home to numerous cafes, There's much to do and even more to see ,and most are the historical places and historic sites are within walking distance of one another .Once the seat of the mightiest empire in existence, the culture of Rome has shaped the face of art, architecture, law, warfare, warfare, literature and language in the Western world today. Pantheon: The stately Pantheon is one of the world's most inspiring architectural designs. Fittingly built as a temple to the Gods by Hadrian, its perfectly proportioned floating dome rests seductively on sturdy marble columns. The only light source flowing through the central oculus was used by the Romans to measure time and the dates of equinoxes and solstices.
Trevi Fountain: The statues adorning this watery display represent Abundance, Agrippa, Salubrity, the Virgin and Neptune guided by two tritons. Tossing a coin into the fountain is supposed to guarantee a return trip to Rome.
Palatine Hill: The hill has a strong link to Roman mythology. It is believed that on Palatine Hill, the twins Romulus and Remus were found in the Lupercal Cave by their four-legged shepherd mother who raised them. Ultimately, this is where Romulus decided to build the city. Boutiques, pubs and restaurants .The area has long attracted artists, famous people and expats, and is a charming place to explore.
