The departmental stores are also an essential part of such big cities. Some most famous stores are Nordstrom and Saks 5th Avenue. The shopping is not too much expensive in Portland as compared to other parts of the United States. You can get your brands and also some tax free or discount options. In the center of the largest amusement park of United States are located the fabulous shops of many famous brands like Old Navy, Circuit city and many more.
A very easily accessible mall that is also the biggest mall of Oregon. It is in the northeast part of the city. It has a big number of exclusive shops in it. Making all the things available under one roof. The mall of East Portland is a new mall with some additional facilities for the customers like fitness center that is open 24 hours a day. This is a big attraction for people and a new idea for other people to follow.
Bars and clubs are essential part of American life style. It is the only entertainment for most of the people to relax and feel free. They can release there stress by dancing and drinking with there friends. There are dancing bars and clubs in Portland but they are not too much like other big developed cities have. Neither have they had those high standards. The area that is famous for bars and clubs is the Pearl District. All the modern type of bars are present with all the drinking stuff available. There are some new additions to the clubs as one is the BlueHour just outside the Pearl District. This place is pretty expensive and charges a lot of money. It includes a high standard restaurant with delicious food and bar. Another expensive bar that is famous for its music and the lovely crowd that comes here is Paragon.
Touche is the best place for just enjoying with friends and having pool games. Berbat’s Pan is also a good bar and restaurant that offers good food along with some special drinks and music. Most of the incoming crowd is young and it is a lively place to spend you weekend night along with friends. The awesome place that is very famous and almost everyone who’s has been living in Portland knows this place. This place with some live music playing some Jazz entertainment, the dancing floor is always crowded and full of energy. It is a small place but too many people come here and enjoy themselves. At some places in Portland new type of clubs are located where people under 21 are allowed to come. They are getting popular but not that much.
