Shimla has the only natural ice-skating rink in India. An Ice-skating Carnival is arranged every year by the Ice-skating Club during January. During this festival, members display their skill on ice and participate in a fancy dress competition. The mall and the ridge are famous for Shimla shopping. Stay in Shimla Sunrise Villa Shoghi Simla is a good homestay budget hotel among Shimla Hotels. It is located at Shoghi on the road going towards Tara Devi temple. Shoghi is 13 kms before Shimla.
