Seems Like It'll Be A Marauder Pirate Costume for My Boyfriend

There is so much keeping us busy preparing for the halloween trick or treaters. My family probably should have started planning months ago for all the decorating they want to do. My husband keeps ordering more and more Halloween decorations from the online store. Among all the decorations and props he has added a crawling hand to the list. He’s even thinking about ordering a new costume for himself this year. Last year he was a werewolf. I’m not sure about this years costume. He loves halloween as much as the kids. Our son feels the same way about halloween. He plans to hit every house and fill bags of candy.

Planning the décor and the costumes took them a while. They are both into pirate movies of all kinds, especially “Pirates of the Caribbean.” So I already know that a pirate costume is probably at the top of the list. I saw my son checking out an adult pirate costume and some children pirate costumes online yesterday. So I won’t be surprised to see a men’s pirate costume and a pirate boy costume coming in the mail soon. I wondered if they were going to have me join the crew with a lady pirate costume. They were discussing pirate chests and something about a skull with a sword protruding from it. I think a pirate theme was surely on the horizon. You didn’t have to be a private detective to figure that one out.

Then they came to me to suggest we might try going with an authentic pirate costume scenario this year. What a shocker! So they started checking out the online store for pirate costume selections. They each found a costume they considered like the pirates of the Caribbean and one that was a ghost. I doubt if they had a clue as to which ones they wanted to be. They changed their minds with every new high seas pirate costume they ran across. I decided to concede and choose from one of the women’s pirate costume selection. I knew they would end up convincing me to join them.

There were some pretty cool womens pirate costumes to check out. I really liked the sassy one and I’d love to be the queen. I have always considered myself the queenly type anyway. So, why shouldn’t I dress like a captain? They had a lot of pirate costume accessories to go with just about any pirates costume you chose. They had the pirate costume hats and even a set of pirate teeth. There’s also all kinds of stuff like boots and swashbuckling swords. The more I look at these online accessories, the more excited I’m getting about wearing the ladies pirate costume.

The guys want to get everyone into the act. They are even ordering a dog pirate costume for our little bulldog. It probably wouldn’t hurt for my husband to speak to a professional. But I will say they had some really cute pet costumes to check out. The costume does look pretty cute. They not only had the costume, but, it also came with the pirate hat and hook. Our son made a little eye patch for him that really completes the outfit. My husband was the captain and my son a rogue pirate. Now we were all set for Halloween night. They have already started putting up the decorations. They’ve worked very hard on their Halloween preparations this year. It really looks great. There was only one disagreement this year. Our son still thinks he should have been the captain and of course, my husband claims that spot. But they both know who the real captain of this ship is.
