The Samsung Wave 2 is a much larger mobile as compared to its predecessor. The screen is a 3.7 inch and is quite a large mobile that come with measures like 4.88 x 2.35 x 0.46 inches

There are aluminum chassis all around and the metal chasing can prevent it from any damage. It is much thicker and thus can be easily held in the hand. However, it is somewhat same as its predecessor, the Samsung wave, with the same metallic color and the diamond shaped opening, which is meant of that camera on the back. The phone is now a flat inverted trapezoid and is not a diamond shaped key like its predecessor. It comes with four different colors of pink, ebony gray, black and white.

The Samsung Wave 2 price is nearly Rs. 16,459 and its ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor delivers great experience of speed processing. The price in India will attract many buyers as it is pocket friendly. It is a touch screen phone with clear LCD and has a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and displays 16 M colors. It runs on Bada OS 1.2 and is a GSM phone with 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 900/2100. The display is one of the best available with the LCD technology and offers great color gamut, sunlight visibility and viewing angles. The handset is taller, solid and thicker in the hands. It has a brushed metal body with laser etched branding. The screen lock is comfortably located at the right side of the mobile, so there is no need to search for it at the top all the time.

The Samsung mobile is equipped with a Li-ion 1500 mAh battery that delivers a talk time of 6 hours on 2G and gives a standby time of 800 hours. The Wave 2 comes loaded with multiple codec and supports media players and allows you to play all your favorite audio and video tracks in great sound quality. Even the FM radio with the RDS also sounds great. The camera is a 3.15 mega pixels camera that has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, and also supports features like auto focus, color, contrast setting, geo-tagging and brightness for better photographic experience.

The Samsung Wave 2 comes with 100 MB in-built memory, which is sufficient to store unlimited number of contacts, messages and ringtones. It can also be expanded up to 16 GB via microSD card.
