Samsung,one of the biggest name in the world of mobiles, is making big strategies to take over the Indian Smart phone market. The company hails from South Korea and is showing tremendous progress in the Indian markets.

Samsung,one of the biggest name in the world of mobiles, is making big strategies to take over the Samsung Mobiles in India Smart phone market. The company hails from South Korea and is showing tremendous progress in the Indian markets.The company officials are now deciding to step a little ahead of the present condition and get itself counted among the Smart phone majors. With this view the company is planning to launch 8 to 10 exclusive models in the portfolio of Smart Phones of the company.
Being calculative, the company is planning to grab around 20% of the smart phone market in India by the end of 2010. the Smartphones will include Android. Bada andWindows operating systems. Talking about the present condition of Samsung Mobiles, it covers 17% of the Indian smartphone manufacture in terms of value whereas it is 20% in terms of value.
Taking the recent launches, the company officials claimed that they will be coming up with 3 new hand sets which will be powered by the Bada operating system. These hand sets will be launched soon in the market in order to initiate their walk towards the target.
Moreover company officials also expressed their interest in increasing the number of 3G hand sets in their portfolio within a year. This signifies that probablyupcoming launches from this mobile manufacturer will support 3G network.Looking at the present portfolio condition, Samsung has seventeen hand sets supporting 3G services with the range from 3,900 to 40.000 Rs. Only.Samsung is certainly taking a wise decision of adding new Smartphones in its portfolio as the Indian market is holding good scope for further launches and in such a situation, Samsung will certainly make good progress.
