Samsung's current flagship hit the 3 million mark in 30 days less compared to its predecessor. It did not stop there. In just 85 days in the market, this figure blew up further to 5 million. There are various reasons why the Samsung Galaxy S2 is one of the most highly desired smartphones in the market. First of all, it sports a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display that allows users to enjoy more from their multi-media and more room for their touch screen needs. Secondly, it comes packed with a dual-core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor Exynos chipset coupled with 1 GB of RAM under the hood. This offers unsurpassed processing power not a lot of smartphones in the market could rival. Third, it comes with an 8 megapixel camera that can record videos on 1080p. Lastly, it's hard to imagine that all of this powerful hardware is crammed into an 8.5 mm slim handset. During its time, this was one of the slimmest smartphones in the market. These sales figures were recorded from the months of April to September of 2011. Although the smartphone's generated sales have slowed down, we're pretty sure more have been sold during the months of October to November.
