The Samsung Galaxy Ace though targeted at the mid-range of smartphones does manage to induce keen user interest with some of its features that you would encounter normally only in the truly top of the bracket smartphones.

When looked at from one perspective, the South Korean mobile phone giant seems to have taken a risk in lauching a smartphone as the Samsung Galaxy Ace. After all, how many smartphones does the market need that runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo version of the operating system. Still, the fact remains that the Galaxy Ace is already very much within our midst and what is surprising is that it is doing reasonably good business at the moment as well.
Samsung has placed the Galaxy Ace below a rung or two than the HTC Desire HD and the Samsung Galaxy S and above the HTC Wildfire and the Samsung Galaxy Apollo. This makes it compete directly with the likes of smartphones such as the HTC Wildfire S.
At the end of day, for all the rich features that smartphones these days come up with, prices do matter. And this is where the Galaxy Ace scores heavily. As it is really priced as y ou would like a budget phone and indeed seems under priced for the value it is offering.
A 3.5 inches wide 320 x 240 pixels resolution touchscreen backed by the 800 Ghz snapdragon processor does seem good enough for the £ 15 per month for the maximum period of 24 months contract deal tha the network service providers are charging. You also have a five mega pixel camer to boot that does have auto focus, :LED flash and video recording options incorporated very much within it. The only factor aspect from this snapper is that there is no provision for high definition video shooting.
What is more the memory alloted can be readily hiked to another 32 GB with the use of the microSD card in the slot given for it in the device. You also receive a 2 GB card in the box when you buy the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
But the biggest ace that undoubtedly the huge battery life that the Galaxy Ace extends. A single charge will see you through two full days even with the Wi-fi and 3G options on thoughout. In fact, one of the users has suggested that if you turn the 3G network to 2G before going to sleep, the battery life will be even more. Need we say more. As mentioned above, the various cheap Samsung Gaalxy Ace contracts and other deals make it for some of the lacking in features to a great extent.
