It seems that the India is the favorite market of the Mobile phone companies. They are launching new models in the nation that too focusing the youths. No the Korean electronics giant, Samsung is about to launch their brand new mobile phone called Samsung Chat 350. It is scheduled to be launched in the nation this year it selves and the price will be as low as Rs. 5000/- only.

The Samsung Chat 350 is a sliding handset, looking alike that of the Samsung Champ 3300. Its design also resembles that of the Champ 3300 and sometimes that of the iphone it selves! It is QWERTY handset in which the keypad can be slide out. It is mainly meant for chat purposes as the name says. There are default applications for Facebook as well as twitter. The messaging can be done through SMS, MMS and email. It runs on the Samsung’s exclusive operating system called Bada.

The Samsung Chat 350 has got a 2.4 inches QVGA display with 262K color and TFT touch screen. It has got a 2 mega pixel camera that is enough to take high resolution
images and video recording. The Chat 350 is having a quad band GSM without any 3G. It also having music player and the supports various formats like mp3, mp4, 3gp etc. The connectivity is possible through USB 2.0 and Bluetooth with A2DP. The memory can be expandable up to 8GB. The battery backup will be around 12 hours of talktime and also the standby time of around one month. The Samsung Chat 350 measures up to 100 x52x16 mmFor a country obsessed with talktime and heavily loaded features, the Samsung is going to introduce a suitable model its elves and that also a low cost mobile. None other World class brands have not yet introduced a mobile with QWERTY keypad for just 5000 bucks, and that too will be a plus point to the Chat 350.By reducing the price, Samsung is planning to establish their phone to be the common man’s phone. This will surely lead to a competition with the all time favorite of the nation, Nokia which introduced a chat oriented mobile phone 5 years ago called Nokia 1100. It is the all time best phone in the case of talktime. So Samsung Chat 350 will be competing with many other low cost mobile phones from various bigger and smaller brands for the existence.
