Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is a design process to interpret business applications and data management services to wide range of customers and business processes in a easy and understandable manner across the organization. SOA based data integration play the major role to solve the complex data integration problems for the organization. The major problem that the companies CIO or IT Manager faces are:
• High price for IT development, deployment, and maintenance
• Poor IT infrastructure flexibility in meeting new business demands
• Incompatible, imprecise business data across the organization
SOA based data integration provides the advantage to understand how to manage information from various application across the company and building the consistent data model and managing the associated data warehouse, business rules in the accurate manner.
SOA data integration helps enterprises to take advantage in both in the short and long term. With the huge collection of data volumes and system application connectivity problem within organizations, this can be pretty difficult task and hence created the great obstacle in business growth. However using with SOA based integration and implemented correctly it provides to many technical advantages that in turn directly translate into business growth that a CEO, CFO or upper top level management can appreciate.

These application integration-centric technologies improve the business logic in enterprise applications and legacy application systems but SOA based data integration having benefits more then these technologies like better and faster decision making, lower cost, transaction integration, support for open standards, security etc Which provides upper hand to the enterprise on their competitors.
