Welding is a steady and secure profession. There is always a need for skilled welders in a number of industries, and the Oklahoma welding schools offer multiple welding training programs and welding technology courses to suit your educational goals and needs.

Master Welding programs prepare graduates for entry-level jobs in structural, pipe, thin alloy and/or pipeline welding. They learn welding techniques such as SMAW, MIG, TIG, high frequency TIG, and Fluxcore. Students can graduate from the program in seven months.

An Associate of Occupational Studies in Welding Technology Course is usually a fourteen-month course earning an Associate’s Degree. Students in this program often have to complete a seven-month Master Welder course, then add an additional seven months of training to study welding in regards to Welding Quality Assurance in preparation for becoming a qualified Welding Quality Control Inspector. All students in the Master Welding program are invited to continue their education by enrolling in the Welding Technology Course. There are only a few schools that offer this kind of welding training in Tulsa.

A structural welder program is a 3 ½ month course for those who want to specialize in structural welding. It is usually a subset of the Master Welder program, and graduates are prepared to apply for entry-level jobs as structural welders once they complete the course.

Accredited welding schools in Oklahoma have been educating top rated welders for almost six decades, and Oklahoma is home to the largest accredited welding school in the United States.

When choosing a welding school, make sure that they are committed to the success of their students and provide extensive support to help graduates succeed. Schools should offer financial aid, housing support, temporary job assistance and job placement for graduates.

Welding Training Programs should be primarily hands-on, giving students real-world experience working with the tools and practicing the techniques they will need to use once they are out in the workforce. Graduates from our Master Welder program can be found in every state and in numerous countries around the world.
