Beside’s this it is a prominent city in the entire Europe because of its many galleries, museums and the festivals that take place in the city. It won’t be wrong to say that Edinburgh is the hub of cultural events. One of the most exciting time’s to visit Edinburgh is in August, when the International Edinburgh Festival takes place.

This is mainly because between the buildings there are attractive communal gardens, which makes the area more green, relaxing and peaceful. New Town is the fashion district of Edinburgh. Old Town in Edinburgh:
The Old Town of Edinburgh has many classical buildings and a unique medieval layout. Royal Mile is the main road of Old Town with one end by the Edinburgh Castle and the other end down to the ruins of Holyrood Abbey. There are a number of landmark locations in Edinburgh Old Town, like the Palace of Holyrood (the Queen lives here whenever in Scotland), Royal Museum of Scotland, University of Edinburgh, General Assembly Hall, Surgeon’s Hall etc. Most part of Old Town is the Edinburgh Centre, which is a very busy area and is loaded with tourist.
