So I checked on my PC but there were only some of the data, not all of them. I was freaked because they are my work. I did not understand why it happened.
As a professional photographer, photos are everything to me. In my PC there are literally tens of thousands of photos that are taken by me. I always keep a backup for them in case they are lost in any phenomena. I never lost any photos until one day. I just came back after taking a bunch of photos. It was a casual job but nonetheless very important to me. I decided to start working on my PC. First I would transfer the photos that I had just taken to my PC and then I would filter them and start editing and other things. So I just attached my digital camera through a USB cable to my PC and started transferring photos to the PC. While the transfer was in progress, I accidentally tripped on the USB cable which was the one that I was using to connect my camera to my PC. The USB got detached and there was an error message that transfer was incomplete. I was not at all worried. I thought nothing would happen. Then I reattached the cable and opened my memory card but there was nothing. I was surprised; I thought somehow the data is already transferred. So I checked on my PC but there were only some of the data, not all of them. I was freaked because they are my work. I did not understand why it happened.

I called a friend who knows about these stuffs and he said that it can happen if the data transferring process is interrupted suddenly or if the storage media is suddenly removed without proper removal process. In my case all of them happened so it is just my luck that I lost the data but he also said that the data (the photos) itself are not lost. They are in there, just the computer doesn’t know where and as the computer doesn’t know about the location of the data, it cannot show it and make it accessible. He told me of a free photo recovery tool which can recover photos, videos and audios files if they are deleted, lost or corrupted. The name is Photo Recovery by Wondershare. I decided to check it out. I download it to have a try. Turned out it is a great tool which can actually recover all the data that were lost.

I was new to the software but its user interface was really simple for the new users. There were several recovery modes to choose from. I even got to preview the files that were in the memory car to check if I want to recover those data. After using it and being satisfied by its performance, I would like to recommend this tool for you.

Two things to keep in mind though, firstly don’t use a storage media if you intend to get the lost data back. The lost data may get overwritten by new data, so until recovery don’t store into that storage device. Secondly, keep a backup of the data recovery tool. If it gets lost, then that would be really ironic.
