An individual is forced to know about the corporate world and general awareness becomes the part of curriculum. Another simple reason behind it is the landing of many MNCs in India. It makes an individual well versed with all the vital things which are required before getting into an organization. However, those already into the corporate world can also do it anytime in their life. As it perform the work of value addition to one’s personality.
Another factor that attracts people for this degree is Money money. This degree fetches money by providing handsome salaries and perks to people.
This particular degree also offers an ease to step up the career path faster i.e. an individual can grow in an organization if he possess the quality of hard work. People also do it for enhanced esteem and status as compared to others. To pursue this course one has to either opt for CAT or MAT exam. We here present before you some info on the two vital exams.
CAT Exam
If a person desires to pursue a postgraduate degree or MBA from the world distinguished management institutes the IIM’s, he needs to clear the Common Admission Test (CAT). It is an entrance exam conducted at All-India Level. The exam is followed by Group Discussions and Personal Interviews which serves as the basis for admission. The CAT score is also applicable for taking admission in many other business schools.
A number of postgraduate programs are offered by the IIMs. However, an entrance test is conducted for the courses like MBA, PGDM, MBA + PGPM + PGCM.
MAT Exam
Management Aptitude Test abbreviated as MAT serves as the entryway for seeking admissions into MBA programs in diverse top B – schools and other institutes all over the nation. The body responsible for conducting MAT is AIMA (All India Management Association).
Management Aptitude Test is conducted four times a year in the months of February, May, September & December. The exam usually comprises of 200 questions with different sections like Quantitative ability, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiently, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension ,General Awareness, Analytical and Logical reasoning
