Ford has made a number of updates and additions aimed at all market sectors, in time for the new 61-plate change in September 2011.
In the small car range, there is a new Fiesta, called Ford Centura limited edition, which is limited to 1000 examples. The Fiesta Centura is finished in metallic Panther Black paint, with chrome mirror and door caps, LED daylight running lamps, 16 inch seven spoke alloy wheels and a parking camera mounted in the rear view mirror. It is priced at £13,395, and features a 1.25 petrol engine.
The Ford Fiesta range starts at £9,495 for the Studio model on sale this summer, and will be joined by the new Ford Fiesta Style model priced at £9,995.
In the medium range cars, there is a new Ford Focus Studio, this entry-level five door hatchback model offers fuel efficiency of 48mpg courtesy of the 85PS 1.6 litre petrol engine. It comes standard with 6in sports-style alloy wheels, body-coloured rear spoiler, USB connectivity, radio/CD and electrically operated body-coloured door mirrors with integrated turn indicators.
There will also be a new Ford Kuga Titanium X crossover model, which will feature full leather trim, 18in alloy wheels, LED daylight running lamps, large rear spoiler, panoramic roof, Bluetooth with voice control, USB connectivity, bi-xenon headlamps, heated front seats and power adjust driver seat.
In the large car range, all Ford’s large cars will be available with the 1.6 diesel and petrol engines, with Auto-Start-Stop as standard.
