Well, there actually are and it comes in the form of something as simple as a promotional pen. A promotional pen does not cost you much, but it can serve as a great way to show your customers that you appreciate them. Of course, there are a few other reasons why the promotional pens are good for your business beyond making a customer loyal.

First, when you get promotional pens, you are giving your customer your company name and logo. You are doing this by putting your company name and logo on each pen that you give out. You can print hundreds of pens and each pen is going to serve as a billboard for your company. Think about this, a pen will typically last for about five years and during that time it can have 10 different owners at least. That means if you give out 300 pens, then 3,000 people will probably see that pen and they will see your company name and logo on the pen. That is 3,000 people seeing your company name and logo for only spending about $450 total. If only one percent of the customers who see your logo come in and they only spend $20, then you still gain more back than you spent on the pens and that is important if you want to make sure your company is going to be successful.

However, going back to how you show appreciation to your customers. When you show a customer that you appreciate their business, they will become loyal to your company. This is very important because one loyal customer will buy 10 times what a non-loyal customer will. So, why not reward loyal customers with personalized promotional pens? Sure it costs more but even if a customer only spends 10 dollars with you, they are spending more than most customers. Think about it. If a customer buys $500 from you on one visit and never comes in, it may seem great, but one loyal customer can come in 20 times, spending $50 each time and they will double what the other customer spent on their one visit.
