Water is the most essential element available in the world without which no living being can survive. Although almost two third of the earth is filled up with water there is a huge gap when it comes to pure water for drinking and living purposes. The topic which has been in the news is of pure water for hospitals. Hospital water should be the most pure one as it conserves patients affected by deadly viruses and bacteria.

Pure water can be obtained by many processes of which the most famous one nowadays is the reverse osmosis process. Although the process is slow, it helps to distill the recycled water, thus conserving the resource. Bacteria and viruses contained in the water affect the living beings more than any other medium. If the drinking water contains deadly microbes then it readily mixes with the blood and hits the immune systems hard. To prevent these diseases pure water distilled from a valid source or a water treatment plant should be provided to the hospitals. Hospitals have different type of patients having different types of diseases. These diseases are often very deadly. So it is very necessary that authorities should have a check on the hospital water being supplied in the whole system. The transfer of bacteria and viruses can occur in both ways; from the hospital water to the patients or from the patients to the water.

Proper and necessary procedures should be followed to maintain hygienic environment. There should be proper drainage system in the hospital for the waste water to flow out and that should not be in close vicinity of the distilled water supply. The water tanks in which the water is being collected should be cleaned after every month so that the disease causing germs do not have the place to grow there. The hospital surroundings should also be clean and tidy. The patients are mainly given water in glasses. These utensils should also be clean.
Pure water in hospitals is always a necessity and there are many cases where many patients have died just because of unclean hospital water. The water in the washrooms should also be clean and proper hygiene should be maintained in there. The patients who are there in the hospitals have low or no immune efficiency. Thus they are more likely to catch a disease from these water borne bacteria. So it should be always taken care that hospitalwater should be the most pure and distilled one.
