I would like to share my personal experience on how a small negative thought can turn unpleasant. During my school days I used to do combined studies with my friend but unfortunately both of us fell ill so we were unable to prepare for our exam. I was very discouraged but my friend consoled me that we have the capability and can still do better. But my mind was upset. I had a feeling I wouldn’t be able to score good marks.

My friend tried to convince me many times but I had a pre conceived notion that I would surely be detained. I was surprised to see the confidence in my friend even though he too could not prepare for the exam having been ill. Finally, we took our exam and waited for the result. When the result was declared my friend moved to next class but I was detained. So you can see the result and I also got to learn that whatever we do should have faith on ourselves and a God above and think only positive, no matter how many negative thoughts come our way.

The fuel that we infuse in our body helps us in making our body healthy and gives us a positive feeling. People should know that nutrition is the prime input for a healthy lifestyle. Whatever we eat and think affects our feasibility of the potential. For instance when you put a poor quality of fuel in a high range of car, then you yourself can understand the difference. It won’t show any harm initially but later on your machine will crash and burn. On the whole we won’t be able to get the best out of our body unless we don’t put in quality food into our mouths.

Exercise also helps us to build healthy life style. Our bodies require moving and when stopping moving it, body stops functioning in a proper manner and we gain extra weight which result in some disease. While exercising please remember that whatever exercise you do whether you walk regularly, rock climb, or swim does not matter. The only thing that matters is that you should do it on regular basis. Even a yoga teacher finds it difficult to have only positive thoughts. Negative thoughts only bring pain and demoralize the person.

One should know the technique to stay happy and think only positive. Happy feelings also makes a person think only positive. One should remember that negative thoughts drain out the energy and keep you from being in the present moment. The more you give in to your negative thoughts, the stronger they become. We should also pray that this keeps us away from negative thoughts. There are certain things which can help us to overcome the negative thoughts. One of the most important things is that we should do yoga or meditation. It is a relaxing way to ease our mind and we should always wear a smile which can release our stress. We should also be in the company of positive thinking people. This will change the tone of our thoughts from negative to positive.
