This 3-level play area features child-friendly tools and building materials which kids can use to build their own unique creations. A math-based exhibit, the area encourages children to use counting, measuring, and sorting skills in a creative and inspiring environment.

Rising Star Ranch

The Rising Star Ranch is a special area just for children ages 2 and under. Here toddlers and babies can explore, discover, and learn in a safe, playful environment. Exhibits are designed to stimulate the senses, using different textures, bright colors, and music to engage young children in entertaining learning activities.

Baby Bloomers

Also for young children, this weekly program allows children ages 3 and under and their caregivers to explore the museum without older kids. In addition to exploring the museum’s exhibits, children can participate in story time and a sing-a-long time.

Science Sundays

Each Sunday, local scientists and engineers present kid-friendly activities that allow children to investigate and explore scientific concepts in a fun environment. Kids can learn about aerodynamics by building paper airplanes or explore the concept of magnetism by creating their own compass.
