Majorca is one of the Balearic Islands. It is a favorite destination for trendsetters. It offers a combination of today's civilization and long history of ten centuries, vast pine forests and rocky beaches to the west, beautiful bays on the east and the long sandy beaches in the north and south...

Beaches of Majorca

Northern part of Majorca has a magnificent beach with a wind that always blows. This place is a special attraction for surfers. In the south, the beaches are covered with pearly sand and look almost unreal. Es Trenc beach has the most beautiful sunsets.

Playa De Palma is located on the southern coast of Majorca. It is only 10 km from the city of Palma and 5 km from the airport. Playa de Palma has proudly received a blue flag for cleanliness, water quality and the coast. This combines two popular resorts and 6 km long beach, known as Playa de Palma.

Cala d’Or is located in the southeast of the island and is about 60 km from the city of Palma. This is a popular resort with small coves. Cala d’Or in translation means the golden beaches. Cala Ratjada is located on a small rocky peninsula on the northeast coastline, 65 km from the city of Palma. Most of the smaller beaches and coves wear a blue flag for cleanliness and water quality.

Ca’n Picafort is located on the north coast of Majorca, in the eastern part of the bay Alcudia. It is 60 km away from the city of Palma.

Playa De Muro is located between Alcudia and Ca’n Picafort, on the northern shore of Majorca. Plaja de Muro has exceptionally warm sea water and a specific 8 km long beach.  Puerto Alcudia is in the north of the island, about 60 km from the city of Palma. The old part of Alcudia is surrounded by walls with narrow streets and numerous restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops.

The capital

Palma de Majorca is the capital of the island and autonomous Balearic Islands. It is the largest city and port on the island of Majorca. Furthermore, it is situated on the southern coast of the island. This is a place with a large number of luxury hotels and villas. You will feel the charm of old times in the narrow gravel streets of the old town, grandiose Gothic cathedral of La Seu and the beautiful castle Castell de Bellver located on a hill above the town.
