Spain is the most preferred tourist spot of Europe. Now, the popularity of tourist spots in Spain has spread far and wide and many tourists from Europe, Asia and many other continents visit Spain. The monumental buildings, beautiful nature, vast sea spreading over 220 kms, high mountains, parks, museums, the list goes on. Every tourist enjoys his stay in Spain and the cherished memories of his visit encourage him to visit the country again and again. Every province, city and even a village has something to offer the tourist. Now, let us go round the province of Cadiz.
Located in the South of Spain and a part of the Andalucian region, Cadiz is known for its beautiful weather and stunningly beautiful nature, beaches, monumental buildings, etc. There are luxurious villas and apartments which make the stay of the tourist comfortable. The tourist can be assured that every moment of his stay in Cadiz is enjoyable and he would certainly cherish the sweet memories of Cadiz. Beaches:
Cadiz is blessed with many beaches. As a matter of fact some of the beaches in Cadiz region have won the blue flag which indicates how beautifully the beaches are maintained. Some of the beaches have gardens or some historic buildings, etc. The beach Sanlúcar de Barrameda, for example, has a botanic garden which is believed to have been established in the 8th century. This beach is also the home for one of the most important national parks of Spain called ‘Donana National Park’. This beautiful beach is most ideal for holidaying with family and friends.
Castle San Sebastian:
Historians are of the opinion that the castle was built to defend the city from enemies who would enter the city from the northern side of the city. It is believed to have been built in 1706. This beautiful building has been preserved in its original form. Certainly it is a pleasure to see this beautifully planned castle.
Puerta Tierra:
This is actually a city wall which is believed to have been built in the 18th century. The wall is built in two different sections which are called San Rogue y el and Santa Elena. The entrance to the city which is located in the centre of the wall is beautifully decorated. Historians believe that this wall was built to protect the city from enemies.
