Many may protest about the tag, but as far as the fans of both Pena Nieto and his actress wife Angelica Rivera, that was exactly what took place in one beautifully fine November day last 2010.

Life was a blessed road filled with the happiest moments for Nieto and Rivera when they met in 2008 and had a relationship almost right after. After the tragic loss of his wife in 2007, many had feared that Nieto would never be able to bounce back from the loss. That was exactly what he was able to do, however, and only with the help of Rivera.

Nieto and Rivera made sure that everything they did about their relationship was the right step for both their careers and they were finely rewarded for their patience and forbearing. Majority of them respected him for his decision to risk everything for true love. As for Rivera, the only thing the opposition may have had against her was her divorce, but that was easily resolved when they went to see the Pope. Their hard work and prayers were answered when the Roman Catholic Church considered Rivera’s first marriage, which ended in divorce, as null or invalid.

Political analysts had also focused on the wedding of Pena Nieto and Angelica Rivera because they knew it could show a significant trend in how the 2012 presidential elections would turn out. So far, the news is particularly good for Nieto, with his chances for winning the election only increasing. This is also good news for his political party, PRI, which still bitterly regrets its loss of the presidency back in 2000. Hopefully, with Nieto gaining an unintentional but sizeable advantage through his relationship with Rivera, the PRI has a good and permanent claim on the 2012 presidency this time around.
