Pakistan cricket board is much more concerned about Pakistani players for the upcoming match. PCB for the sake of betterment of the team to play well has repudiate to permit its players take part in the forthcoming Bangladesh Twenty20 Premier League in order to make sure the Pakistan cricket team get sufficient time to organize for the approaching critical series in opposition to England.
Mentioning the approaching Test series next to the world number Test side in UAE, the PCB has solicit Pakistani players not to sign agreements with Bangladesh clubs for the worthwhile Bangladesh Twenty20 league. Nadeem Sarwar PCB representative authenticated that PCB has not permitted its players to play a part in the Bangladesh league.
PCB media manager Nadeem Sarwar said "The PCB feels that at this time when the national team is due to play a very important test series against England it would not be appropriate to allow our top players to play in any foreign T20 league," he continued "No player at this stage has been given permission to sign any contract." Nine Pakistan cricketers had apparently signed agreements with different clubs in Bangladesh for country’s domestic Twenty20 tournament that starts from December 26.
Sarwar authenticated that previous captains Shoaib Malik, Younis Khan, opening batsmen Imran Farhat and Mohammad Hafeez and spin bowler Abdul Rehman all wanted go-head from PCB to play in the BCB Twenty20 League but the board has not permitted them to sign agreements with the Bangladesh clubs. Pakistan cricket board is completely looking forward for the Pakistan – England series, and hopes Pakistan gives defeat to the opposite team.
PCB media manager said "They had sought the permission of the board and they have been told they should not sign any contracts at this stage since there is little time left to prepare for the England series,” Other players who have been proposed agreements by Bangladesh clubs include wicketkeeper batsman Kamran Akmal and his brother Umar Akmal, beside the pacers pair of Wahab Riaz and Sohail Tanvir.
Sarwar said that PCB would soon take a verdict on whether to permit the foursome to take part in the Bangladesh League or not. "These players also could be required for Pakistan duty at any time. But the board has not taken a decision on their contracts." Pakistan cricket team is currently in Bangladesh and will trip UAE next month for a Test series next to England starting on January 17 in Dubai.
