Physical fitness is the key to a prosperous life as it is builds up a sound and creative mind. Much of our physical fitness and strength depends upon the exercises that we do, apart from the food that we eat. There needs to be a proper balance between our food habits and our physical work.

Much of our physical fitness and strength depends upon the exercises that we do, apart from the food that we eat. There needs to be a proper balance between our food habits and our physical work. In metropolises, it is often noticed that children often suffer from obesity. This is due to the lack of involvement of kids in physical activities.

When our body takes calories, it needs to be absorbed by the body also. But if we don’t get engaged in any kind of physical work, these calories give birth to extra fat that make us look bulky and also make us physically unfit. It is very important to control the obesity of kids at a very early age. Organized sport is a great way of encouraging kids to take care of their own health and at the same timeto develop different traits of leadership and teamwork among them. Some of the benefits that organized sports offer to the kids are briefly discussed below:-

• The biggest and the most important benefit that organized sports offer is it ensures a healthy fit life to the kids. It makes them develop skills that will help them in maintaining and following good habits throughout their lives. Agility, coordination, endurance and flexibility are some of the important life skills that kids learn from these kinds of activities
• Children, who are engaged in some sport activities, are found to be more conscious about their health and refrain from taking anything that may harm their health. In some sports, the athletes are suggested specific diets to take so that they can maintain a good health. As the obesity rate among kids are rising every year in every part of the world, so more such sports should be encouraged among kids
• When kids play and win a particular sport, their confidence level gets increased. To develop a good personality and have a strong sense of self confidence it helps us become better survivors. When kids do such activity, they feel to be a part of a particular group and it works as a morale booster for them
• Group sports teach kids to be patient and persistent. If you want to be a good sportsman, you need to show a balanced performance every time. This is a very valuable lesson, one that they must carry with them into their adult lives. It is very important for our professional life also to be persistent and patient so that we can tackle any situation easily
• Sports teach us social norms and how to work in a group. Playing games in a group needs team spirit, leadership skills and sportsman spirit. Organized sports often are made up of kids who have a variety of different social and economic backgrounds, which can help teach children about diversity, and also provide the opportunity to make new friends.

Being put together with other young athletes who want to play, learn and compete leads to having something in common with those individuals. That makes it much easier to make friends.
