People are looking for more natural products to pit in and use on their bodies. Also many of the yarn companies are offering organic yarns, from Organic cotton yarns to organic wool, bamboo and more. This trend of having eco friendly products is showing up in all kinds of products.

In the recent past and present years the use of synthetic agricultural chemicals has been used for growing all agricultural items. No doubt this increased the production but it really made these agricultural items unhealthy. The effect of using fertilizers is also seen in the soil, it contaminates the soil and the water nearby. Sixteen percent of pesticides are being used for growing cotton yarn.

Organic cotton yarn is grown without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. As of 2007, 265517 bales of organic cotton yarn was produced in 24 countries the production rate has increased more than fifty percent per year. There are natural ingredients that are being used like pyrethrin to grow Organic cotton yarn and other agricultural items.

Organically grown cotton yarn is same as the conventionally grown cotton yarn. The advantage in Organic cotton yarn is that it is more natural and safe to the skin. So also other agricultural items that are grown organically are safe to use and healthy. Organic cotton yarn is grown using methods and material that have a low impact on the environment. In addition as per the regulation the genetically engineered seeds are prohibited for organic farming. All cotton that is sold as organic must meet the federal regulation covering how the cotton is grown.

Organic cotton yarn can be dyed but they are left in their natural state rather than being dyed, but there are companies that do dye the Organic cotton yarn. There are option to use non toxic organic dye to dye the organic cotton yarns, but the organic dyes are very expensive than the conventional dyes, therefore the organically dyed organic cotton yarn are expensive.

Organic and eco friendly products are now here to stay. Most of the companies are now moving towards producing organic cotton yarns and organic products.
