The Nokia N9 is the very first MeeGo powered Smartphone that has been announced recently. it comes with a unibody design and does not have front facing buttons. This MeeGo mobile is the world’s first pure touch screen mobile till date. Te phone can be unlocked just by tapping the screen and a simple swipe can take you to the home screen. The N9 provides three home views at the home screen: Applications – gives access to launching and apps organizing. It is equipped with a new fast web browser that comes with the latest Webkit 2 technology and has HTML 5 support that comes with enhanced internet browsing experience. The applications provided in the Nokia mobile are the Facebook, Swype, Angry birds, Twitter, Accuweather, track and protect, Joikuspot Wi-Fi tethering, AP news, Real Golf, Mail, Drive, Ovi store maps and many more.
The Nokia mobile comes with a huge 4 inch screen that has the ability to cover large pixellete area and has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The weight of the mobile is 160 grams and is a heavy mobile due to the huge screen. The colors available are Cyan, Black and Magenta. The luster and the shine make it attractive to buyers and also the beautifully placed QWERTY keypad, multi touch input method, and accelerometer sensor for the UI auto rotate and the scratch resistant surface make it more attractive.
It features a 5 Mp camera that comes with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels including the autofocus and dual LED flash. It also features Geo-tagging along with smile detection and face detection to give you best pictures without any errors. Video facility is available at 720@ 25fps, LED video light. There is also the secondary camera as VGA video call camera. The battery is a Li-ion 1320 mAh that provides a good life, but also depends on the usage and network availability. The memory has a capacity of unlimited entries and photocall. The internal memory provided is 64 GB and can be extended up to 32GB.
The nokia n9 price in India is Rs. 30,000 approximately and is an expensive phone, but lives up to the expectations.
