The New Nokia C7 looks an attractive proposition, with its modern design and great social features making it top of many peoples wish lists over these coming months.
The new Nokia C7 is one of the new crop of phones from the manufacturer featuring the latest version 3.0 Symbian operating system, alongside a whole host of other features that the user will find both entertaining and useful.

One area where this latest operating system really excels is with regards to social networking. A host of information from your various accounts is linked with your phonebook. This system currently works on the two popular sites Facebook and Twitter, but a range of other services are due to be added soon. Three fully customisable home screens are offered on the C7. To these screens it is easy to add your own widgets, and you can even link RSS feeds to keep you up to date with a wide range of information as it happening. E Mail facilities are well catered for, with the phone supporting up to ten individual accounts, and the push notification system giving you real time updates as to the status of your inbox. Multitasking is covered by the handset, and it is easy to switch between the applications you are currently running thanks to a neat box that pops up in the middle of your screen, with icons visible that are relevant to processes you are currently running.

Looks wise, the new Nokia C7 scores top marks thanks to a slightly unusual design which is different to many phones, but not too far out to alienate people. The majority of the phones housing is constructed from stainless steel, adding robustness as well as an eye catching metallic finish. Measurements wise, the 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5mm chassis is relatively compact, especially in the depth department, and the overall weight of 130 grams is nicely in line with other comparable handsets available. The phone sports a good quality 3.5 inch screen that makes superb use of AMOLED technology to produce an image that is not only crystal clear, but one that also benefits from a massive 16 million palette of colours. Nokias own “ClearBlack” screen technology adds a further depth to dark colours which may appear washed out on similar display. The screen is a capacitive touchscreen so is very responsive, and the overall resolution of 360 x 640 pixels helps achieve the clear results achieved. The handset benefits from a still camera facility which can capture images at a high 8 million pixel resolution, and also moving footage in superb HD quality, meaning a resolution of 720P at a frame rate of 25 per second is possible.
