The Gorgeous by Nature line will come in five natural hues, namely - Amazon Green, Pacific Blue, Desert Brown, Sunset Red and Monsoon Black. The Acer Gorgeous by Nature line starts from Rs. 27,499, and are available across Acer’s retail outlets, and its online store. The base configuration of the two laptops, Aspire 5755 and Aspire 4755, are nearly identical, starting with a Core i3-2310M processor and Intel HD 3000 graphics. Users will have a choice of Linux or a Windows 7 operating system, and a GeForce GT 500 GPU with up to 2GB of VRAM. Also onboard are 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a multi-card reader, and a multi-touch pad. Acer has also used Dolby’s Advanced Audio v2 for sound, and its Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam. Commenting on the launch of the Gorgeous by Nature line and the two Aspire 5755 and 4755 laptops, Mr. S. Acer Aspire product portfolio has always been popular and we are confident that our consumers will take the position of a preferred laptops.” Asus Eee PC X101 MeeGo Netbook Asus has launched the Asus Eee PC X101 in India, pricing it at Rs. 12,499. Bearing a 10.1-inch display, what makes the Eee PC X101 different from other such offerings in the world is that it comes with MeeGo installed – not a more conventional distro version of Linux, or Windows 7 Starter edition, like most netbooks. It will come in three colours – brown, red and white. Asus launched the Eee PC X101 in India ahead of most regions in the world, including Europe and the U.S. Taking a look at the netbook’s specifications, it becomes apparent that Asus is trying to make Eee PC X101 a combination of a netbook and tablet. It comes with an 8GB SSD inbuilt, 1GB of RAM, choice of an Intel Atom N435 or N455 processor, two USB2.0 ports, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, a webcam, and a 3-cell battery that is rated to deliver up to 4 hours of battery life.
