This article offers relevant information about the necessary equipment for a paintball scenario game.
|
If you are going to take part in a role-playing, scene-evoking paintball scenario game that could last anywhere from several hours to even a couple of days, you should plan ahead and double check to see that you will have all the necessary equipment.
Make sure that the essentials of the paintball game have received approval from the scenario game staff: barrel plug/sock, paintball marker, paintball mask, power source and clothing which should not be too tight or too baggy. In addition, don’t forget to pack a spare barrel and/or marker, paintballs for target practice, at least one additional air tank to keep cold in an ice chest, along with a radio with headset for proper communication and a camera.
Taking into consideration that you will be probably out all day playing with your friends, make sure that you bring some sunscreen so that you will avoid getting a burn. In addition, pack an insect repellent to avoid getting bitten. Needless to say, make sure that you bring along with you plenty of water which you will not only drink, but also use for cooling the air tanks and paintballs.
Some spare clothing and shoes wouldn’t hurt. You might also want to have a uniform/costume that is fitting for the game you will be playing, along with some rain gear in case the weather turns out to be bad.
Include in your checklist a squeegee or a barrel swab, spare gun parts, flashlight, digital stopwatch and tools in case you will have to repair the paintball gun, along with wrenches to tune the velocity. If you have cargo space left, bring a pair of binoculars, fire crackers, ear plugs, paintball grenade and pistol, smoke bombs, megaphone and some spare glasses.
Do not forget to bring a first aid kit because you never know what might happen out there on the paintball field. This first aid kit should include rubbing alcohol, adhesive bandages and painkillers like Motrin or Tylenol.
There are also other non-game necessities that you need to take into consideration. For example, if you did not make any hotel reservations and you plan on camping, your inventory must include: dry firewood, a stove or grill and fuel for the cooking, tent, sleeping bag, pillow, lanterns or torches.
If you are on a strict prescription, don’t forget to pack everything that you need to take during your paintball trip. It would be advisable to bring some easy-to-make food, along with power bars and some energy drinks. You shouldn’t leave your wallet at home as you will be needing money for your trip.
The cell phone should be kept in the car for emergency use as we’re sure that you do not want any unnecessary calls delaying and/or interrupting your paintball gun. Last but certainly not least, don’t forget about deodorant, mouthwash, towels, wipes and other similar hygiene products.
As you can see this is a rather comprehensive list of equipment that you need or should take whenever you go on a paintball adventure for a couple of days. Plan ahead and you will be fine. Have fun.
