Famous Dusara Festival celebrated in Mysore city attracts lots of tourists from all over the globe. Mysore is said to have derived its name from Mahishasura, the demon king who lived in this place. According to studies, it is the second biggest city of Karnataka and lies about 130 km away from Bangalore. This former capital city of Wodeyars beholds a rich collection of spots grabbing thousands of tourists. Following is the itinerary of an interesting holiday package covering some of the prime attractions in Mysore.

Day 03: After having breakfast in the early morning, trip will move to Lalitha Mahal. This palace situated near Chamundi Hills is considered as the second biggest palace in Mysore. Mysore Zoo, else known as Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens is another destination explored in Mysore holiday package.
