GETTING a woman with huge muscles to dress up the traditional wedding gown and walk the aisle for marriage is perhaps an awkward sight. What’s even more awkward perhaps is to see a bride into bodybuilding carrying his groom into the hotel room moments after the reception of the wedding.
GETTING a woman with huge muscles to dress up the traditional wedding gown and walk the aisle for marriage is perhaps an awkward sight. What’s even more awkward perhaps is to see a bride into bodybuilding carrying his groom into the hotel room moments after the reception of the wedding.

The idea may appear funny, but there is really some truth in it. There are probably few instances when women with huge muscles are seen all dressed up in white slowly walking to the direction of the altar where a skinny groom awaits.

Marrying a muscled woman isn’t a bad idea. Sadly though, women with huge muscles don’t seem a generally acceptable idea of “beautiful and attractive”. To many males, the common notion of “beautiful and attractive” is the slender type of women.

Muscled women

Woman into bodybuilding isn’t something new. It is however isn’t something that neither generally accepted nor popular, although there are already some countries where more and more women are getting themselves into it.

Some women go into bodybuilding for health reasons. They simply want to stay fit and healthy. There are some who are simply parcel of the trend. Some sees it as beautiful or sexy. Other see it as a weight loss regimen without getting too skinny. There are those who are seriously considering a career on bodybuilding while some who are into something, which to prove that women are capable of doing what men does. Few would want them to be distinct from other women.

Regardless of their agenda (or reasons why women are getting themselves into activities that contributes to muscle bloat), bodybuilding is a good physical activity as it enhances health, helps keep one fit, promotes discipline and boosts one’s confidence.

There isn’t anything wrong with women into bodybuilding --- except that too much muscle for the feminine gender makes her look like a man.

Great American Bodies

In the United States, bodybuilding for women is slowly gaining popularity amid the growing number of American women going into it for reasons that they want to get closer to perfection.

These women consider bodybuilding in the development, firming and toning of their muscles, through a proper workout regimen, which promotes symmetrical body and a near perfect shape from the upper torso down to their legs.

It is important to take note though that bodybuilding for women is far different from that of men’s bodybuilding, although science would show that both men and women have the same structure and number of muscles. The only thing that defines distinction between both genders is the testosterone.

However, there are women who goes into the training module designed for men. We’ve seen them during competitions.

No more turning back

For some women, getting into bodybuilding however may prove to be “fatal” of sort. They are living on the wrong impression that once they get into it, there is no more turning back as stopping from the regimen would turn them into a bloated individual.

It is imperative that women (and all of us for that matter) that fats are formed when we fail to burn stored calories in our bodies. To burn these fats, we should sweat and go into physical activities, which do not necessarily have to be bodybuilding. GP
