Lately there has been a growing trend of children preferring to play the guitar over more classical instruments. For many years, the piano has always been the main player in the word of music, so why is it now that so many young children are picking up the guitar? Some may put it down to the media. Good technique right from the start allows the child's skill to develop quickly and correctly, ensuring that their potential is reached and improvement continues.
