The place is around 75kms from Alicante and is considered to be one of the important places of tourist’s attractions. Though there is no airport in Murcia, you could reach this place by bus, car or any other form of road transport from Alicante.
Climate and the landscape are the two important factors that will attract tourists every year. Besides its wonderful beaches, Murcia is also known for many other aural scenes that will surely keep your life relaxed. Explore around the various open areas around Murcia and you will be amazed to find many as you travel across the place.
Murcia is known for its vegetable farms as it has a strong water irrigation system. The population mostly consists of the Tribes of the Iberia and so you will find a rich flavor in their cuisine as well. Their rice items, baked meat, stews and other food delicacies are worth a taste.

Another place to visit while in Murcia is Carthagena, historical town that gives you an insight into the Iberian history. The museum in this city is worth a visit and is an Archaeological museum. Another town that needs to be explored during your vacation to Murcia is Caravaca de la Cruz. No specific places are there in this town but the entire town looks charming and a walk down the narrow streets is all that is enough to keep you refreshed and make your holiday enjoyable. You will also find very many hotels and restaurants catering to different needs of the tourists in Murcia.
