One is a smartphone while the other is an extremely cost effective QWERTY keypad cell phone meant for those who do not want to compromise on the looks even though they may have a tight budget.
Let us start with Defy by Motorola first. This is not like the other smartphones out there in the market because it is dustproof, scratch resistant and even water resistant. The smartphone has been touted as ‘life proof’ in the advertisements, and although it might not be completely true to this claim but its withstanding ability is quite commendable. This smartphone is a great option for those who are into socializing on their cell phones and being a rare breed in its category it does catch the attention of everyone who set their eyes on it. The size of Motorola Defy is quite small, in comparison to other smartphones out there. Although the resolution of the camera is nothing special, just a 2 megapixel camera, but it is certainly far better than other phones within the same price range because those come with VGA cameras mostly.
Being a reasonably priced phone, this model is sure to surprise you with its display screen which is a whopping 2.4 inches. It can support memory cards of up to 8GB in size. The cell phone also comes with a pre-installed Opera Mini application to satisfy all your web browsing needs. An added advantage is the good Facebook and Twitter integration and even though this phone has a slow processor but this disadvantage is quickly overshadowed by the other advantages.
