Casa Batlló House – This is a 20th century modern residential building and is considered as one of Gaudí's best buildings. The building looks beautiful.

Casa Milà "La Pedrera" House – This is a 20th century modern residential building and is considered as Gaudi’s masterpiece. This is also considered as Barcelona’s symbol. This was built between 1906 and 1912 and there are lots of curvatures and undulations in this building. Its originality and the techniques used in its construction are surprising throughout. This has been declared as a World Heritage site.

Casa Vicens House – is the first work undertaken by Gaudí himself. Gaudí’s architectural concept of this house is reflected on his other creations and it includes materials used, texture and color. Bricks and pottery have been used extensively for its exteriors and this is mainly because the house owner insisted on using the materials from his quarry. Mudejar architecture is used in this building.

Güell Palace – is a 19th century modern palace constructed by Gaudi on a site of dimensions 18M x 12M. This has a dome, glass windows that are stained and also stairs; all these put together have created an optical illusion because of which the palace looks larger.

Güell Park – is a 20th century garden built in modern style. Originally this was intended to be Gaudi’s residential town but this became a public park because no residential building was built in this place. This is considered as one of the world’s best works of art nouveau. Its design is based on the English garden towns.

Palau de la Música Catalana Auditorium – is a modern building of the 20th century. This building was inaugurated in 1908 and the architect for this building was Lluís Domènech i Montaner. This is used as a major concert hall and is one of the world’s largest. The interiors are made of polychrome glass and ceramic mosaics. It was declared in 1997 as the UNESCO World Heritage site from Spain.

Santa Creu and Sant Pau Hospital – This is a modern building of the 19th century. Its origins date back to 1401 when 6 hospitals were merged at that time. The city grew quite a bit in the 19th century and a new building was built. The new hospital depicts Catalan modernism and the architect who designed and built this building was Lluís Domènech i Montaner.

The great temple of atonement – is a 19th century modern church. This was built by the architect Gaudí in 1883 and the work is yet to be completed. He completed the San José chapel, El Nacimiento door and the crypt.
