With the advancement of technology, and multiple industries and factories coming up in the market, everywhere, the emission from those organizations affects the earth and the environment in a strong manner.

Air quality standards need to be maintained at a particular pre-defined standard failing which increased pollution levels will be marked, which might be injurious to health of living beings. There have been various devices which can be installed to aid pollution monitoring and hence lower the pollution level
In diesel and petrol the Sulfur content has been diminished. The CNG program is another significant measure taken to lower the air pollution level. Maintenance and check of the vehicles on a regular basis has also helped in air pollution control. In order to boost public transport, which checks the pollution level, the governing bodies keep coming up with certain schemes and designs.
The use of endosulphans was banned on the basis of pollution monitoring once the damage it was causing was calculated. Use of pesticides in mineral drinking water and sodas was also checked as that increasingly caused health issues.
