Students of this grade must have information of inverse relationship of positive number and negative numbers and how to apply properties on real numbers to solve problems, using commutative, associative, identity, equality, inverse and closure property. The 8th grade math syllabus makes students familiar with real world in which they have to use proper operations using integers, ratios proportions, numbers expressed with percentage and so on.
