Who are these three (3)? To tell and learn about their names it is no secret but to realize the importance they actually hold is a great ability; and to exercise your control upon these three is an ability of the rarest ones. No riddles my friend! Those three forces riding us all through are... the tongue, the eyes and the ears. Oh! Learning about their names might appear to you as demeaning, since the anxiety hyped right at the outset of this very article raised an expectation of something really big coming down for the first time to your notices.
The beauty of the ancient wisdom is that it reveals before us the knowledge upon doors that lead to self realization and enlightenment about facts that lead to higher dimensions of consciousness… and the same is the case with the mention of those three that on learning might appear you as just mockery.
According to the ancient wisdom our mind utilizes various sensory organs in order to further its all kind of urges. And as the ancient knowledge informs us the mind; the mighty restless force each second erupts to experience desires of varied kinds. Not only that repeat not only that it (mind) every second keeps shifting the priority of its own urge… it shall never prevail or settle in any one kind of an urge… just like a lunatic it recklessly wants to ride our existence upon endless chain of its tidal moves. Mind executes the activity part of its entire business through our sensory organs; namely eyes, ears, tongue, arms, legs and genitals. The actual plot for the sensory organs was that they were enshrined with the human existence for pursuance of necessary acts that gather and act different assignments that earn knowledge, react and further the ecological evolution upon this planet. But in turn and as its general practice the Mind the natural foe that only after great disciplining shall transform as a friend; in its normal conduct drives these sensory organs to pursue its own malefic agenda.
Now; in very few words recall the purpose and act of merely three of the organs named above… eyes see (simple), ears listen (simple)and the tongue tastes and talks (very simple)… eyes if want to notice merely the defect, faces and want a wander… ears if merely want to gather all that entertains, gossip about others… tongue at its first stance draws itself out to utter nonsensical abuse, chatter for no reason… tongue at its second stand waters itself for want of variety at any tax upon health, quantity of intake to any extents; then what shall be the conclusion as a result.
The foremost Conclusion apart from other hazards that affect us in different forms shall be that we shall become a highly fragile and scintillating insight that shall never settle and stay with any subject that necessarily requires our focus of attention. My dearest friend ‘focus of attention’ is the only process through which this human existence can and has always gathered opportunity to achieve great landmark in all spheres of life. Focus of attention is an act that pierces the domain of nothingness and draws the raw material of relevant probability in order for its manifestation. All those great men and women who have given this world a marvel of their contribution in all fields whether economy, science, architecture, literature, medicine or else… could contribute their all merely through the procedure of the ‘focus of their respective attention’.
Focus of attention has never and shall never be able to find any other alternate that can enable the cosmic consciousness unleash its ability through the limited entity known as human beings. The article is about managing three (3) sensory organs; if managed well the world is partially is yours. The subject of the title withstands every single word of its phrase in light of the possibility it triggers before all human beings. The focus of attention to a great extent if not entire… withers away or becomes drained out through its expenditure into meaningless avenues executed by eyes, ears and tongue for and on behalf of their immediate but unworthy master the Mind.
Ancient wisdom talks about handing over the reins of these sensory organs to the farsighted wisdom that is the domain of the purified intelligence of human beings… for… when ruled by a wise master they shall stand in service to higher pursuits and above all they shall not act as demonic forces that every second intervene to thwart any advance made by our attention that aspires to focus upon a purposeful objective.
It is therefore highly pertinent to note that solemnise these three senses with the waters of purified farsighted intellect and restore the norm to any and every meaningful achievement in one’s life I.e. ‘focus of attention. Let eyes be driven in compliance to your core objectives, let ears merely inch towards sounds that serve your higher objectives, let tongue take responsibility to retain and restore the vigour, vitality at all costs and let the same tongue also be prepared to win over all that can contribute to your enrichment. I shall continue writing upon this subject in many more articles. desire2will.com. Dinesh kumar (learning under discipline)
