Japan is a beautiful country in Asia with many exciting attractions to visit in its different provinces. If you are in the business of travel offering tours to Japan, then by all means, promote your travel packages with your own customized brochures for Japan travel. There can be general reading materials about Japan or there could just not be enough prints provided by airlines or the tourism of Japan. So why not get on with your own Japan brochure printing.
Brochures are supposed to contain photos and information about travelling to a certain place, and in this case Japan. But Japan is a really big country with many interesting places to visit. So if you want to zero in on just two or three provinces because that is your agency’s specialty or because you have promo rates, then you can do so by making your own pamphlets. You can limit your text and brochure to focus only on your featured destinations in Japan.
If this is going to be your first time to make your own travel guide to Japan, you can make use of these pointers to make your job easier.
1. Identify the destination or province that you want to feature. This is important because this will narrow down your search. For example, you will only feature Tokyo, Japan in this edition. So you need to gather all the texts and photos that you will need. Make sure you use exciting and colorful photographs or graphics to make your work attractive. A couple of the photo and graphic file types that you can use are JPG and BMP. Then collect the data that you need from the internet or books. Or you may also want to look at existing Japan brochures and get an idea of the usual things that are included. Knowing what you want to feature will focus your search on the important things.
2. You can very well use your existing Microsoft Word program in your computer. When you open the program, you will usually see the “Document Wizard” but if not, you will have to select “File” and click on “New” to start working. Under the “Publications” tab, you will find the icon for “Brochure”. When you click “OK”, your brochure document is created. Make a filename for your work by clicking on “Save A” and typing in a suitable file name that you can easily find on your computer. All other moves and inputs you will on your file can be stored by clicking “Save.”
3. When you check on the size of your page, it would usually be a tri-fold of a short bond paper with a front side and a back side. You can choose from any of the existing templates loaded on Word to make your job easier. The templates usually have default words and graphics on them but you can easily replace them with your own. Just click on the text box or the image box in order to customize the content. If you encounter any problems, there is always the “Undo” button. This is going to be very helpful especially if this is your first time. You may also want to check out the “Help” feature of Microsoft Word for instructions on what to do.
It’s pretty easy, right? Just save your file from time to time to avoid losing the data that you put in. If you are already contented with your design, you can already start printing your brochures. While your brochure printing may be done by an amateur, you can still use good quality paper to make it look professional.
