There’s many factors that contribute to a business’s success, ranging from having a fantastic product , such as a soda drink or something else thats consumable and would be renewed by the customer, to a new clever school of business strategies, that may lead to increased production and therefore sales. Of course some of these are much more important than others for obvious reasons. What good is having a unique marketing strategy if the product itself isn’t up to standard? And how many sales do you think you would get if your product was one of the best in the world, but you priced it wrong, or didn’t adhere to the latest consumer trend du jour? Not very many, I can tell you. And with so many trends flying around it can be difficult to keep up with whether we’re meant to be saving a rainforest, or giving fair trade to people, or using your product to make the moon out of cheese or whatever.
The point is that all of these factors must blend together to make a good business into a great business, and failure to address any one of these small factors can lead to quite a problem with your business. The one I’d like to address the most here is the one of location. In some cases location can be a make or break scenario that needs to be looked at immediately, specifically businesses that offer services as opposed to actual products. The reasoning behind this is that if your business is in a difficult place to enter, it won’t impress your clients much, and if it’s out of the way, you aren’t going to entice any customers off of the streets either. A way around this is by advertising your company on your building so that people will know what you do. But if you want to sort out the problem of not upsetting and making them late, perhaps an office relocation might be what you need. That said, there may be plenty of reasons for a company that offers products to relocate themselves for several reasons. Firstly there’s the cost of distribution that you may need to consider. This is relocation on a major scale that would involve moving into major cities from rural areas rather than just around the corner. When considering this you should also look at relocating your office or factory to somewhere with great transport links. Another thing to think about when considering relocating a factory, would be how easy it is to access for both workers, but also for deliveries. Places that require large goods vehicles will always need to ensure that they have the space for a loading bay, and should always be high priority on the list of things that they need. Hopefully this article may make you realise that there could be a flaw in your business plan and hopefully for your businesses sake you’ll consider office relocation to be one of your priorities.
