Mobile learning goes back to 1901 where Linguaphone released a series of language studies which were all self-study language courses in 15 languages which was taught through a recording system gave a flexible option to those who could not attend language courses at a fixed time and location.
The main reason for the popularity of M education was its flexibility. As the technology advanced M education was more of Media education where one can learn through videos or videos classrooms.
On introduction to Lap Top computers M education was made even easier through internet facilities which allowed the education institute to provide students with distant learning programs. The students are able to do projects and interact with the faculty for better understanding. The distant learning degrees are well recognized and accepted in the job market today.
Mobiles are our every day need today, to stay in touch and communicate. There has been a vast advancement in the mobile technology which has lead to having the internet facility on the mobiles. One can watch movies, play games, send message on chat and send emails. Looking at all the flexibility that the mobile can provide as it’s easy to carry anywhere you go and with its connectivity mobile have become more and more popular device that is being carried around and is also now a mini computer.
Youngster and adults are having mobiles and therefore it was another innovative decision that has made M education possible which allows an individual to learn when on the move and can use the time to upgrade their skills through M education.
M education is nothing but distant learning on the mobile using the internet facility that is now possible on the mobile. There are many mobile models that give you all the features of a computer and are mini in size and easily portable and have very good connectivity. M education is an option for those who want to study further but cannot be confined to a classroom or their desk top computers at home. It’s less or no weight to carry and at the same time you can learn when you are on the move or sitting and waiting for that appointment with your doctor, prospect client or your interview.
