Day 1: Arrive to Cairo International airport
your first stop is the Giza Plateau to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Here you will also see the Great Sphinx, the monument with the head of a pharaoh and a lion's body, as well as the Valley Temple.
Next is the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the third dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. You will then head to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years as the first capital of Egypt.
Day 2: Giza sightseeing
Day 3: Luxor East bank sightseeing
your tour starts in the West Bank, home of the Valley of the Kings. Admire the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for many kings' burial sites. You will visit the famous tombs of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII. Next, you will visit the temple built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490–1469 B.C). She is the only pharaonic woman who reined ancient Egypt. You will make a short stop by the Colossi of Memnon, where the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III lie, before you head to the East Bank in Luxor. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue your tour to visit Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in the history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. The last stop is the Temple Of Luxor, built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.
Day 4: Luxor West bank sightseeing
the first stop on this tour is the Valley of the Kings, where many kings are buried. Admire the magnificent architecture of the burial tombs, including those of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.
Next is the Valley of the Queens, located on the west bank of the River Nile and southwest of the Valley of the Kings. It is also known as Biban al Harim and Ta Set Neferu, which means "seat of beauty." It was built to house the tombs of the queens, princes and princesses of the XVIII, XVIV, and XX dynasties. Visit the temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490–1469 B.C) and is the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.
Day 5: Kom Ombo / Edfu
Enjoy a day tour to the Temple of Kom Ombo, which stands on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, one entrance dedicated to the falcon-headed divinity Haroeris (the ancient falcon-headed Horus) and the crocodile-headed deity Sobek (the god of fertility and the creator of the world). Kom Ombo's importance lies in its huge sugar-cane.After lunch at local restaurant, you will cross the Nile to Edfu where you will be transferred by a horse carriage to visit the majestic temple dedicated to Horus. It is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.
Day 6: Aswan sightseeing
Take a day tour to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Then, you will head to the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. This obelisk is believed to belong to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II, who owns Al Deir El-Bahari temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. However, others believe that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti. Your final stop is the majestic Philae Temple, which was built on the honor of goddess Isis the chief deity of the island.
Day 7: back to Cairo
Day 8: Cairo sightseeing
Day 9: free day in Cairo or Optional Alexandria
Explore the city of Alexandria. Visit the Roman era catacombs of Kum El Shukafa and the 3rd century Pompey's Pillar, as well as Alexandria Library and Morsy Abul Abba's famous mosque
Day 10: Back Home
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for departure.
