My family probably should have started planning months ago for all the decorating they want to do. My husband is at the computer ordering his online Halloween supplies. Among all the decorations and props he has added a crawling hand to the list. I think this year he is planning on a new costume idea. He opted for the werewolf costume last year. I can’t say for sure what he will be this year. But he is just as excited as a child at halloween. Our son feels the same way about halloween. He plans to hit every house and fill bags of candy. They not only spent a lot of time working on decorating, but on planning what costumes they want to wear. Husband and son both are big fans of the “Pirates of the Caribbean and other movies like that. So, I’m pretty sure that pirate costumes are on there minds. Our son was online yesterday skimming over the pirates costume selection. So I’m pretty sure the two of them are leaning towards halloween pirate costumes for this year. I knew that eventually they would decide that mom needs a pirate wench costume or something similar. They were also talking amongst themselves about a bloody pirate chest and a skull with a sword shoved through it. I’d say piracy was definitely in the air. Anyone could tell where this was leading. They ended up telling me that they were considering ordering all of us pirates costumes. Surprise, surprise! Now the search was on for the perfect buccaneer pirate costume for both of them. Our son was thinking about the ghostly pirate he found and my husband was still stuck in the Caribbean for his costume. They still weren’t really sure about the type of pirate they wanted to be. They changed their minds with every new high seas pirate costume they ran across. I knew from the way they were talking that I might as well start checking out the lady pirate costumes right away. I knew they would end up convincing me to join them. Some of the pirate fancy dress costumes were really awesome. One was a sassy pirate costume and the other was a pirate queen costume. I have always considered myself the queenly type anyway. So why not dress the part, right? There are some neat accessories for a pirate themed Halloween. They had the pirate costume hats and even a set of pirate teeth. You should see the pirate boots and swords they have available. Dressing up in a womens pirate costume sounds more and more cool with every accessory I find. They weren’t happy until all of us were aboard their ship. They are even ordering a dog pirate costume for our little bulldog. I’m beginning to think my husband needs some serious therapy. But I got to admit, there are a lot of nice costumes for pets on this site. He does make a cute pirate in his costume. There was a pirate hat and hook with the costume. Our son made a little eye patch for him that really completes the outfit. Our son chose the costume of the rogue pirate and my husband, of course, decided he would be the captain. We now have everything we need for Halloween. They have already started putting up the decorations. They really did go all out this year on Halloween. It really looks great. We only ran into one problem in this family venture. Even though my husband feels he’s qualified to be the captain, our son feels he should be the leader.
