London 2012 Olympics Venues for Hire

If you haven’t been hiding under a giant rock, or tucked away on a deserted island than you are well aware that London is playing host to the 2012 Olympics.

Along with the surge of tourists, incredibly fit athletes and new sporting facilities – London will be inundated with events of every type and scale.
With this in mind I thought I would spread the word about a great venue I have recently discovered smack dab in the centre of London! I wanted to share my knowledge because I was so blown away after attending an event there recently. The event was a private birthday party for a friend. She always goes all out & this year was no exception. It was fabulous!! Part of what made it so great was the space. It was held at The Soho Gallery located in the heart of London on Charing Cross Road. It’s a true ‘blank canvas’ type space and is situated over two full floors with a capacity of 300. It’s a completely flexible space with white walls, amazing old school floor boards and huge light filled windows.
As with all great recipes you need the right ingredients. With event spaces the three key ingredients needed for success are: an amazing venue manager, a brilliant location and of course a spectacular space. All three ingredients are present at the Gallery Soho. I can’t speak highly enough about the venue Manager Rene. He goes above and beyond to accommodate any requests and needs you have. The location is amazing and easily accessible being just around the corner from Tottenham Court Road, the Central line. The Olympic Park is also on the Central Line making it truly convenient for folks attending an event or just checking out the Olympic Park. Those two components paired with an outstanding interior space that can be used for so many different types of functions I would be hard pressed to find better.
The Venue for can be hired on a dry hire basis where we simply provide the venue or our on-site events team can take care of all your needs from decor & catering to lighting, furniture & equipment rentals. Each floor has a maximum capacity of 150 people which can be rented out separately or as a whole. The gallery has a fully equipped on site kitchen and bar, HD projector and Bose sound system.
