These people leading a western lifestyle are very conservative too for their traditions and cultures. They do not mind adopting new trends and fashion but they do not leave their own culture and traditions as well.
Residents of Mumbai are generally referred as Bombayite, Mumbaikars and Mumbaites. Mumbai is a cosmopolitan metropolis where people from different parts of India come with big dreams in their eyes to earn money and fame. Hence, the population of Mumbai comprises of people following different religions, cultures and traditions.

Being a metropolitan city, Mumbai is both technologically and industrially advanced. Despite the fact that people have adapted themselves to the contemporary lifestyle, accustomed with gizmos and gadgets, they are deeply enrooted in the traditional values and principles. The people are God-fearing and respect their religion, but it doesn't mean they are orthodox. If they enjoy going to their places of worship, they equally enjoy going to pubs & discos.

The Nightlife in Mumbai is deceitful enough for anyone to spend an entire stay in Mumbai partying in fantastic clubs and then recovering in your hotel room the following day - this is one Indian city that really never sleeps.

In addition to its sophisticated restaurants, Mumbai nightlife's is famous for being the most dynamic in India. The burgeoning bar and club scene is also more drinking-orientated than elsewhere, giving it a westernized vibe.

With a mix of live music, chic clubs and kitsch themed bars, Mumbai’s nightlife rivals that of many European cities. And whilst those in the center cater more to Bollywood’s finest than to backpackers, there is still plenty of cheap entertainment to be found. It will never disappoint the party-animal in you.

Many bars and clubs operate couples only entry for both the member and non-members and there is an entrance fee also. The most popular drinks are beer and spirits and the wine is relatively expensive. Drink prices may very according to the venue. The nightlife in Mumbai offers a lot of variety to satiate the nightlife enthusiast. The foods served in these spots are exquisite and serve different cuisines.

Mumbai is the fifth most populated city in the world. And this crowded city glitters day and night. Like any other big city on the planet, the people of Mumbai live a fast-paced life. They are dedicated towards their work and at the same time, leave no excuses while enjoying parties and festivals. In short and snappy terms, Mumbaikars are really nice people, who are living fast life, yet taking pleasure in each and every moment.

Mumbaites are generally open-minded people and their lifestyle is highly influenced by the glamour world and Bollywood. These people leading a western lifestyle are very conservative too for their traditions and cultures. They do not mind adopting new trends and fashion but they do not leave their own culture and traditions as well. Mumbaites very well maintain a balance between trends and traditions.
