We all know that for better opportunities in students' career, he had to keep good academic records and this is not an easy task to do because current syllabus of students is very difficult. Mathematics is a kind of subject in which most of the students are focused to do good because it is a kind of practical subject in which students can score 100% marks which will help them to increase their aggregate marks overall. Mathematics is a deep subject so its content which is included in schools math syllabus is categorized in various grades as 4th grade math , 5th grade math and so on.

Friends today we are going to discuss 6th grade math. The 6th grade math is also known as middle school math. The questions in 6th grade math are generally based on integer number line, geometry, exponents, fractions and square root. There are various word problems in 6th grade math. Let us have an example:

A gives B half of the total bags and B gives C half of the bags he got from A. than C kept 8 bags of them and gave the remaining 10 bags to D. so how many bags are given to B by A initially.

So to solve this equation, we have to write proper math expressions from the information provided in the words as:

Suppose A has x number of bags so according to the first statement that A gives half of the bags to B --->

A has x bags initially and B has x/2 .

Then b gave its half to C so

now B have x/4 and C also have x/4

now C kept 8 bags and give remaining 10 to D. it means initially C have (8 + 10) bags so

C = x/4 = 18

x = 18 x 4

x = 72

initially A have 72 bags it gives half of it to B, which means B have 36 bags.
