Explain them the rules:

Every workplace has some rules to follow. It is your responsibility to explain all the rules regarding job to your employees. Tell them that they have to submit the reports on monthly basis, how much working hours do they have to work about and various other things related to the work.


Inspire them to be positive:

You are an example for your employees. The one thing about this generation is that they get inspired very quickly. So encourage them to be positive in all situations.


Lead and guide simultaneously:

Millennials are very much in need of their work feedback. They always need some feedback from your end in order to keep going in their work. It is good to guide them, it is for their self-assessment and they will bring improvements in their work in future. You have to give them your quality time in order to teach them and bring the best out of them.


Promote team work:

Now you know that your younger generation employees are great team workers, so why not make most of it? Promote working more in teams and less individual. This way you will have lots of ideas and solutions to the problem. Together they can help you accomplish goals easily and wisely. And it is not only about the official work; also you can arrange events or picnics where you help people to get engaged with each other in a meaningful way.

This generation always wants to have fun and let me tell you, you can increase their productivity by keeping them indulged in fun filled activities time to time. Let them make friends. Don’t just isolate them between work and their rooms.
