Lanzarote is not very big size but this small island of Canary Islands is very beautiful and attracts tourists from different parts of the world. This holiday destination has a lot of things to offer to its guests. The best thing about the Lanzarote is its hotels. There are plenty of spots to visit in Lanzarote. But one of the most interesting places to visit is Timanfaya National Park. This is the place where you can see Montanas del Fuego, which were created between 1730 and 1736. This is the rare time where over 100 volcanoes erupted, causing massive disaster on the island. The lava went on to destroy many of the villages across the area. The recent eruption took place in 1824, the lava debris is though still visible. The low rain fall makes erosion pretty stiff.
Several tourists come to the National Park, which houses the volcanoes. The tourists come here can see the unique landscape. The picturesque scenery is often compared to the planet Mars, mainly because of its red color land. There are very few plantation in the area, as the lava debris has kept the soil quite unfertile. Also you will get to see some of the demos that showcase how the ground underneath is very hot. The temperature under the ground is between 400 and 600 degrees. To prove this you can see dry brush catching fire when water is poured into the hole. Also, it reminds of you of a mini geyser.
Another most fascinating and unique things you can see is the El Diablo. The volcanic landscape is also very amazing. The landscape provides diner a unique experience of eating food cooked through heat of active volcano.
Apart from the serene landscape, there are plenty of beautiful beaches. These beaches have their unique colour. Some are pale while many are black. The hotels, close to the beaches, are of low rise though providing beautiful views of the crystal clear ocean.
